DISTRICT PROGRESS

  • Launched OUHSD Student Forum in collaboration with District Office to encourage more student participation in district policy issues

  • Architected long-term goals and programs for district wide Wellness Centers with Peer Resource faculty & District Office admin; working with ACHS to start an online Wellness Center program in the short term

  • Working with Instructional Support Services to create an Ethnic Studies Pilot Committee for upperclassmen to review and provide feedback on the new curriculum starting Quarter 2 Fall semester

  • Analyzed & presented OUHSD diversity & inclusion data to VCOE & district admin; working on creating a full report for District presentation

  • Held 5 district team meetings & 8 district office meetings; fortifying relations in particular with Student Support Services, Instructional Support Services, and ESL Services departments
